Above are the album covers from the recently released double EP, ‘The Good Fight’ & ‘Wild Child’ from Chase McBride. Chase called upon us to create the identity / logo for his band, Chase McBride. Yes, his name is Chase McBride and the band’s name is Chase McBride. Kind of cool, in a weird way, right? Anyways, check out the logo in action after the jump.
The music has a very authentic, singer-song-writer, folk, multi-cultural, folk, jam band, hippie-esque feel to it so there were a ton of inspirations to draw from. Chase wanted it to be simple yet have personality, so we went for a really nice hand-drawn script lettering, with a super simple imperfect circle shape to ground it. After lots of drawing, this was the final direction chosen. Good times.
The logo was used as a key visual in one of his latest videos titles ‘Gloria’. Really, really nice song, check it out below.
