Prime 8 Art League May 30th, 2012
THIS FRIDAY, Prime 8 Art League, 1015 W. Lake St., 7-9pm, drinks, snacks & jams will be present — what more could you ask for? With a mission to nurture and expose the work of new and emerging artists, this promises to be a fun time. Check out new work from Jesse Hora, Chris Silva, Eric Mecum, Logan Faerber and Chris Sandlin. After party at The Aberdeen Tap. All are welcome!

8×8 Art Show May 2nd, 2012
In the spirit of artistic collaboration, The Coop and Gapers Block teamed up to produce 8×8, an experiment in writing and design. Eight Chicagoland designers were paired with eight local writers to create collaborative works, with text informing and influencing art and vice versa. The results of this experiment are presented in limited edition poster form, with writing and design back to back. Jesse was super happy to be invited to contribute to such an interesting project, take a peek at what he came up with. Come see the results Friday, May 18th! Details below.

If you’re in San Fran Dec. 4th I would definitely suggest checking out (and donating to) SHELTER: An Exhibition Exploring Home.
It is an amazing undertaking by Zoe Minikes and Emma Bernsohn helping to finish a Habitat for Humanity house for the Mendoza family of Green River Utah. We will not be able to make it to the opening, but we did send over a thick stack of prints that will be available, so go make it happen!
