‘Every week, Made In The Now produces a t-shirt in response to a breaking news story around the globe. Each t-shirt features a highly collectible, covetable design and is available to purchase for seven days only.’ We had a ton of fun working with the fine folks over at MITN this past week, coming up with this beautiful tee dubbed ‘BOOB TROOP’. Evan Haughey, the lead signer of Hero Jr., has been a long time friend of Jesse’s since grade school. So when we got the word that they were releasing a new cd and needed some ‘art help’, he was super excited. Take a look below to see how everything turned out. We are fresh off of an amazing and much needed, 4th of July holiday break filled with lots of friends, family and – thankfully – time away from the computer. Anyways, back to the grind, here is a fun little video of the Hero Jr. t-shirts being printed by the lovely folks over at Scrappy Apparel (note the Nelly R&B soundtrack, wow.)
Never Shout Never: Lava Lamp April 12th, 2011
Working under the direction of Warner Bros. + Reprise Records art director, Matthew Erny, we created a plethora of apparel design work for the indie/hippie/folksy musician Christofer Drew, aka Never Shout Never. It has been well over a year and a half since the completion of this project, but after randomly coming across photos of the ‘trippy lava lamp’ design on the internet this afternoon, I thought I would share.
