Athlete Objects for ESPN Playbook May 10th, 2012
The fine folks over at ESPN did a nice feature on the Athlete Objects project, which was super exciting since it was a personal project that Jesse has been tinkering with for a long time. They liked it so much in fact, they commissioned ESPN exclusive Athlete Objects illustrations! Talk about a dream job. First up, Derrick Rose.

8×8 Art Show May 2nd, 2012
In the spirit of artistic collaboration, The Coop and Gapers Block teamed up to produce 8×8, an experiment in writing and design. Eight Chicagoland designers were paired with eight local writers to create collaborative works, with text informing and influencing art and vice versa. The results of this experiment are presented in limited edition poster form, with writing and design back to back. Jesse was super happy to be invited to contribute to such an interesting project, take a peek at what he came up with. Come see the results Friday, May 18th! Details below.
